This week (May 4-8) will be the last week that the Richton School District will be providing enrichment work. Because we did not have an actual 4th nine weeks of school, a student’s 2nd-semester average will basically be the 3rd nine weeks grade they received prior to leaving for spring break, which in turn will be averaged with the first-semester average to come up with a yearly average. With this information, it is important that if you are a student who is failing a class from the 3rd nine weeks, that you complete as much of this work as possible to try to improve your grade. If you were unable to access the work while it was posted online, please make arrangements with the school or your teacher to see about getting hard copies of the work and completing it. Monday, May 18th will be the designated day that all enrichment work can be brought to the school and be turned in. No late work will be accepted. If you have completed the work and would like to turn it in prior to the 18th, please call the school and make an arrangement and schedule a time to bring the work and turn it in. For classes that offer online resources and software where work could be completed online (Common Lit, USA TestPrep, ELS, etc…), your teachers should already be able to access your online work for these particular classes. If you have any questions regarding enrichment work, please call your school and talk to your principal between the hours of 9 AM-1 PM.
